New tax tables that come into force on 1st July 2009 are now available in the software update. Do not download until you need to use the new tables.

28th January 2009

The facility that allows sending the database by email to Possum Gully Software for problem resolving now sends the file as a .ZIP file (instead of the database itself).

Fixed a bug that was sometimes occurring through rounding errors when generating a data file for transmission to the Bank for EFT payments.

• Shearing staff can now be paid as sub-contractors, meaning a GST component will be added to their Gross pay, and no Income Tax will be deducted from their pay. (Record an ABN in the  Employee master record to signify him/her as a Sub-contractor).
• A list can now be generated giving totals by Wool Shed for a period specified.

When paying a "Standard" employee (as opposed to Shearing staff or Fruit Pickers), the user now has the option of including any Bonus into the calculation of superannuation payable on behalf of the employee.

EFT Payments. Added the ability to pay Employees by EFT. The system will generate a file of payments which you can submit to your bank through Internet banking.

Employee pay advance reminder diary. Added a function to remind the user if an employee has taken a "sub" prior to be paid. Having made an entry into the diary, the user will be warned when entering the next payment details for that employee.

October 2005

Employee screen layout. Changed the layout of the screen where an Employee's master record is updated. Information is now stored on a "tabbed" screen, separating Name/Address details, Tax/Super/Bank details, Holiday records, and a log of Wages Paid.
